Florian K. Lawton
Born June 20, 1921, in Cleveland, Died Jan. 11, 2011, Aurora Ohio.

Though we had little time to get to know Florian personally we know, love and will forever remember him through his art.
We will miss his special and beautiful way of looking at the world, and his mastery of the water color technique is undisputed.
His many insights and talent for depicting the life style of the Amish and country life will always be appreciated.

About Florian K. Lawton

Florian K. Lawton has had a celebrated career as an artist for over 50 years. An article by the Butler Museum of American Art The June, 2010 Artists' Fellowship Newsletter also describes the accomplishments of Florian K. Lawton. Recently, the Geauga Maple Leaf Newspaper featured an article on the Geauga Historical Society's Maple Museum, and featured the artwork of Florian Lawton.
